Arch Bishop Duncan Williams has stated that it is against the word of God to criticize or insult politicians, He made the statement in a preaching at his branch in Côte D’ivoire which was broadcasted in February on his Tv channel ” Inspiration TV” on Multi Tv.
The Bible admonish the church to pray for politicians not to criticize or insult them. He believes that approach undermines the opportunity for the Church to influence government decisions in the nation.
“…One cannot criticize and insult the government and expect them to listen to him” he said.
The Arch Bishop expressed his worry about some serious comments and prophetic predictions made by some men of God in the country.
He advised the church to follow his lead in how through intercession and prayers he averted many disasters that could have befallen Ghana
