WASHINGTON – Thursday morning President-elect Donald Trump departed New York City on an historic trip to Washington, D.C. President-elect Trump is flying on his first official government plane.
Upon arrival in Washington, DC Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are scheduled to attend a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in honor of America’s veterans. The event is scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm. Tonight President-elect Trump will spend the night at the historic Blair House across the street from the White House.
