The Minister designate for Labour and Employment, Hon. Ignateous Baffour Awuah has denied claims by some section of the general public that the Akufo Addo led Government will create jobs.
According to him, they did not promise to create jobs  but rather they will coordinate the creation of jobs.
“We will not necessarily create job as a Government, what we will do is to coordinate job creation.” He responded to a question at his vetting.
One of the major issues that dominated the 2016 elections was Job Creation and all the parties promised to do more in that regard. Many Ghanaians understood it to mean direct job creation by government so a lot of Ghanaian youth will be taken aback by this change of tone.
